When you join our waitlist, we collect:

  • Your email address, which you provide directly through our signup form.

We use the information we collect to:

  • Confirm your email address through a verification link (double opt-in).
  • Send you your free lesson and notify you about the launch of the Age of Counsel app.
  • Once the app has launched, send you emails about product updates, new features, and new lessons as they are published.
  • Send you occasional updates and related information about the product.
  • Protect our website and forms from spam, bots, and abuse.

We will only send you marketing emails after you have confirmed your email address, and every marketing email will include a way to unsubscribe. You can opt out at any time.

4. The legal basis for processing

We process your email address based on your consent, which you give when you submit the signup form and confirm your address. You may withdraw this consent at any time by unsubscribing or contacting us.

5. How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with other companies for their own marketing purposes. We share it only with trusted service providers who help us operate our service, specifically:

  • SendGrid (Twilio), which we use to send our confirmation and marketing emails. Your email address is stored and processed by SendGrid for this purpose.

These providers are bound by their own privacy and security obligations and may only use your information to provide services to us. We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.

7. How long we keep your information

We keep your email address for as long as you remain on our waitlist or subscriber list. If you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your information, we will remove it from our active systems within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain it by law.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the email address above. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or California, you may have additional rights under the GDPR, UK GDPR, or CCPA respectively.

9. California privacy rights

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) gives you the right to know what personal information we collect, to request its deletion, and to opt out of the sale of your personal information. We do not sell your personal information. To make a request, contact us at the email address above.
